Melissa Handrahan of St. Felix is a bilingual graduate of York University. She has extensive experience in the political sphere as she has worked in Provincial and Federal politics before moving to the Tignish Area with her spouse, Scott, who fishes lobster out of the Tignish Area.
Since joining the community, Melissa has been deeply involved in her community, working with her local church and other community organizations. She and Scott are proud parents of their son Noah and are expecting their second child.
