Daniel MacDonald to seek PC nomination in Alberton-Bloomfield

Glengarry- Glengarry dairy and beef farmer Daniel MacDonald has announced he will seek the Progressive Conservative nomination in District 26 Alberton-Bloomfield.

 

 

"With rural P.E.I always losing services it’s time for a strong voice to start listening to residents and working with them to secure services for our area. Voters are looking for a hard working, honest person who will listen to their concerns and then act upon them. I am that person," says MacDonald.

 

MacDonald is very active in his community serving as past chair of the St.Marks Property and Finance committee, director of the Prince County Exhibition and director of the Central West Holstein club.

 

MacDonald has also been very active in the PC party for many years, serving as youth rep, a poll chair, district president and candidate for the two previous elections, all in District 25 O'Leary-Inverness.

 

"After the district boundaries I now live in the great riding of Alberton-Bloomfield and would appreciate the opportunity to be your voice in getting things done for our community,” says MacDonald.

 

Daniel resides in Glengarry with his wife Catherine and children Lily, John and Tori.

 

The PC nomination for District 26 Alberton-Bloomfield will be held on March 25th at the Mill River Resort beginning at 6:00 p.m.
